DOMOWINA – Bund Lausitzer Sorben e. V.

Vereine haben bei den Sorben/Wenden (obersorbisch: Serbja, niedersorbisch: Serby) eine lange Tradition. Mit dem Ziel, ihre Verständigung untereinander zu verbessern und ihre Interessen gemeinsam zu vertreten, wurde am 13. Oktober 1912 in Hoyerswerda/Wojerecy die Domowina als „Dachverband wendischer Vereine und Verbände“ gegründet. Im Jahre 1937 wurde sie von den Nationalsozialisten verboten. 

Am 10. Mai 1945 nahm die Domowina in Crostwitz/Chrosćicy (Oberlausitz) ihre Tätigkeit wieder auf; in der Niederlausitz bildete sich erstmals 1946 in Werben/Wjerbno ein Regionalverband.

Im Zuge der institutionellen Förderung der sorbischen Sprache und Kultur in der DDR vermochte es die Domowina, beträchtlichen Teilen des sorbischen Volkes ihre nationale Identität bewusst zu machen und sie für deren Bewahrung zu mobilisieren. Als anerkannte Massenorganisation ordnete sie jedoch ihre Tätigkeit besonders in den 1950er- und 1960er-Jahren dem “sozialistischen Aufbau” unter, was wiederum ihre Akzeptanz beeinträchtigte. 

Im Zuge der politischen Wende erneuerte sie sich strukturell und inhaltlich. Heute wirkt die Domowina als politisch unabhängiger und selbstständiger Bund Lausitzer Sorben und Dachverband sorbischer Vereine der Ober-, Mittel- und Niederlausitz. Ihre Mitglieder engagieren sich für Kultur, Politik, Bildungswesen, Sprache, Wissenschaft und Wirtschaft – für Themen, die die Besonderheit des sorbischen Siedlungsgebietes in Sachsen und Brandenburg ausmachen. Die Domowina vertritt die nationalen Interessen des sorbischen Volkes. Ihre rund 7.300 Mitglieder sind in 5 Regionalverbänden mit Ortsgruppen und Vereinen sowie in 13 spezifischen Vereinen organisiert. Der Bundesvorstand der Domowina wird demokratisch gewählt und repräsentiert alle Schichten und Interessengruppen des sorbischen/wendischen Volkes.

DOMOWINA – Zwjazk Łužiskich Serbow z.  t.

Towarstwa maja w Serbach dołhu tradiciju. Ze zaměrom, swoje mjezsobne dorozumjenje polěpšić a zaměry zhromadnje zastupować, załoži so dnja 13. oktobra 1912 we Wojerecach Domowina jako „třěšny zwjazk serbskich towarstwow a zwjazkow“. W lěće 1937 ju nacionalsocialisća zakazachu.

Dnja 10. meje 1945 Domowina w Chrósćicach (Hornja Łužica) swoje dźěło zaso zahaji, w Delnjej Łužicy załoži so prěni raz 1946 we Wjerbnje Domowinska župa.

W zwisku z institucionelnym spěchowanjom serbskeje rěče a kultury w NDR poradźi so Domowinje, wjetšim dźělam serbskeje ludnosće swoju narodnu identitu wuwědomić a jich za jeje zachowanje mobilizować. Jako připóznata masowa organizacija je pak swoju dźěławosć wosebje w 1950tych a 1960tych lětach „socialistiskemu natwarej“ podrjadowała, štož je na druhim boku jeje akceptancu pomjeńšiło. 

W zwisku z politiskim přewrótom je so wona wobsahowje a strukturelnje wobnowiła. Domowina skutkuje dźensa jako politisce njewotwisny a samostatny Zwjazk Łužiskich Serbow Hornjeje, srjedźneje a Delnjeje Łužicy. Jeje čłonojo angažuja so za kulturu, politiku, šulstwo, rěč, wědomosć a hospodarstwo – za temy, kotrež wučinjeja wosebitosć serbskeho sydlenskeho ruma w Sakskej a Braniborskej. 

Domowina zastupuje narodne zajimy serbskeho luda. Wona ma něhdźe 7.300 čłonow, kiž su organizowani w 5 župach z Domowinskimi skupinami a towarstwami kaž tež w 13 specifiskich nadregionalnych towarstwach.

Zwjazkowe předsydstwo Domowiny so demokratisce woli a reprezentuje wšě woršty a zajimowe skupiny serbskeho luda.

DOMOWINA – Zwězk Łužyskich Serbow z. t.

Towaristwa maju pla Serbow dłujku tradiciju. Ze zaměrom, dorozměśe mjazy sobu pólěpšyś a swóje zajmy zgromadnje zastupowaś, jo se 13. oktobra 1912 we Wórjejcach Domowina ako „kšywowy zwězk serbskich towaristwow a zjadnośeństwow” załožyła. W lěśe 1937 bu wót nacionalsocialistow zakazana.

Dnja 10. maja 1945 jo Domowina w Chrósćicach (Górna Łužyca) zasej zachopiła źěłaś; w Dolnej Łužycy jo se 1946 we Wjerbnje k prědnemu razoju wutwórił regionalny zwězk. Associations have a long tradition with the Sorbs/ Wends (Upper Sorbian: Serbja, Lower Sorbian: Serby). With the objective of improving the understanding amongst themselves as well as advocating their interests together, the Domowina was founded on 13 October 1912 in Hoyerswerda/Wojerecy as the “parent organisation of Lower Sorbian associations and societies”. It was banned by the National Socialists in 1937.

On 10 Mai 1945, the Domowina resumed its activities in Crostwitz/Chrósćicy (Upper Lusatia). A regional association was provisionally created in 1946 in Werben/Wjerbno (Lower Lusatia). 

As part of the institutional promotion of the Sorbian language and culture in the GDR, the Domowina was in a position to make a considerable proportion of the Sorbian folk aware of their national identity and to mobilise them for its preservation. As a recognised mass organisation, however, it subordinated its activities to the “socialist cause”, especially during the 1950s and 1960s. This, in turn, had a negative impact on the acceptance of the Domowina. 

In the course of the political transition, the Domowina restructured itself and revived itself in terms of content. Today, it operates as the politically-independent and autonomous Association of Lusatian Sorbs, and serves as the parent organisation of Sorbian associations in Upper, Middle and Lower Lusatia. Its members are committed to culture, politics, education, language, science and economics – issues that represent the uniqueness of the Sorbian area of settlement in Saxony and Brandenburg. The Domowina represents the national interests of the Sorbian folk. Its estimated 7200 members are constituted in 5 regional associations with chapters and societies, as well as in 13 intrinsic associations. The federal executive board of the Domowina is elected democratically and represents all social classes and interest groups of the Sorbian/ Lower Sorbian people.

DOMOWINA – Union des Sorabes de Lusace e. V. (association déclarée)

Chez les Sorabes/Wendes (en haut-sorabe: Serbja, en bas-sorabe: Serby), les associations bénéficient d'une longue tradition. L'association Domowina a été fondée le 13 octobre 1912 à Hoyerswerda/Wojerecy en qualité d'«Organisation faîtière d'associations et d'unions sorabes» dans le but d'améliorer la communication entre les associations membres et de représenter ensemble leurs intérêts communs. En 1937, elle fut interdite par les national-socialistes. Le 10 mai 1945, l'association Domowina reprit ses activités à Crostwitz/Chrósćicy (Haute-Lusace); et c'est en 1946 à Werben/Wjerbno (Basse-Lusace)que fut fondée la première union régionale en Basse-Lusace.

Dans le cadre de la promotion institutionnelle de la langue et de la culture sorabes en RDA, l'associaton Domowina réussit à ce qu'une partie du peuple sorabe prenne conscience de son identité nationale et se mobilise pour la préserver. En tant qu'organisation de masse officiellement reconnue, elle dut subordonner ses activités à «l'édification du socialisme», surtout dans les années 1950 et 60, ce qui ne fut pas sans nuire à son acceptation.

A la suite du tournant politique, la Domowina fut amenée à se renouveler tant au niveau de la forme que du contenu. Aujourd'hui, l'association Domowina agit comme l'union politiquement indépendante des Sorabes de Lusace et en qualité d'union faîtière des associations sorabes de la Haute-Lusace, de la Lusace Centrale et de la Basse-Lusace. Ses membres s'engagent à promouvoir la culture, la politique, les institutions de formation, la langue, la science et l'économie – autant de sujets qui donnent leur spécificité à la zone d'habitat sorabe en Saxe et au Brandebourg. 

La Domowina représente les intérêts nationaux du peuple sorabe. Ses quelque 7200 membres s'organisent en cinq unions régionales avec des bureaux locaux et des associations ainsi qu'en 13 cercles spécifiques. Le comité de direction fédéral de la Domowina est élu démocratiquement et représente toutes les classes sociales et tous les groupes d'intérêts du peuple sorabe/des Wendes.
