The Working Group is celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2016 and this will be celebrated with a jubilee evening in the embassy of the Kingdom of Belgium in Germany. The Working Group of German Minorities inside FUEN will also elect a new speaker during the meeting, who will chair the working group and its meetings during the coming years.

The participants await a full programme of meeting with many organisations and decision makers. These include Members of Parliament, Minority Commissioner Koschyk and Minister of State Böhmer, directors, and other important politicians in Berlin. The highlight of the week will be a reception by the German Chancellor Angela Merkel on Wednesday.
